OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!! I posted that ONE thing back in August 2009, and I completely forgot about it!! Until Vickie, my dear friend at Sand Flat Farm wrote and found my post and said I was blogging. Well, Vickie, I was about to sit down and write you an e-mail and tell you that you must have run across a blog called Mema's Meanderings, and assumed it could be me because of the "Mema" -- and then I decided to check out this other Mema..... and IT WAS ME! Well, I've had a lot going on since then. I had just returned from a trip to Alaska, then we had a couple of trips to Texas, then we had a wedding in November for our middle son, and right after he got married we learned we were moving home to Texas, had to sell our treasured old house here in St. Louis, and find another one in Texas, and had all our kids visit for Christmas back in St. Louis, then my husband went to work in Texas and I stayed here and started packing..... okay, I'm rambling. Needless to say, life has been a crazy whirlwind. No wonder I forgot I had a blog. Vickie, thank you for the reminder!! Am I going completely nuts? I guess this is the best way to get started on my blogging, completely clueless and out of touch. It's probably a sign that I need more social interaction. So more will surely follow. And since I'm starting a completely new phase of life, this would be a good way to kickstart that. I am presently sitting in a camp chair in an empty 104-year-old house in St. Louis, Missouri. The movers left a couple of hours ago with a truck full of our accumulated stuff of 33 years, and we will be headed home to Texas in a couple of days after we wrapt things up here. So this time, I will truly write. But please give me a month to get moved and unpacked and settled into our new home in Lantana, Texas. And to all of you who were so kind and sweet to send comments and encouragement at the urging of my dear, sweet friend, Vickie, thank you all so much for your support. I'm looking forward to seeing you all, and will check out your blogs myself!! I'm entering that wonderful phase of life where I just need to stop and smell the roses, and I have a feeling there are a lot of "roses" out there among you. See ya soon, from TEXAS! :) Lynne p.s. Guess I'm going to have to learn how to post pictures and all that neat stuff, too. This should be fun!
